RECRUITMENT SCAM AWARENESS

Protect Yourself From
Recruitment Fraud

Scammers sometimes impersonate GlobalCybers recruiters to trick job seekers out of money and personal information. Here's how we really operate, how to spot a fake, and what to do if you've been targeted.

⚠️

GlobalCybers never charges job seekers, for anything.

We do not ask candidates for payment, banking passwords, or fees to apply, interview, or get placed. If anyone claiming to be from GlobalCybers asks you for money or sensitive financial details, it is a scam. Do not pay, report it using the details below.

Your Protection

What GlobalCybers will never do

Recruitment scams impersonate real staffing firms. Knowing how we actually operate is the fastest way to spot a fake.

πŸ’³

Never request payment

No application fee, no "training" or "equipment" fee, no charge to be placed. Our service is always free for job seekers.

🏦

Never ask for bank credentials

We never ask for your online-banking password, PIN, or a deposit to "verify" your account. Payroll details are collected only by your actual employer after you are hired.

πŸ“§

Only email from @globalcybers.com

Genuine messages come from an @globalcybers.com address. Be cautious of recruiters using Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, or Telegram in our name.

πŸ“

Never hire without a real interview

We do not extend job offers by text or chat alone. Every placement involves a genuine interview with the employer.

πŸ”—

Never send surprise "offer" links

We will not ask you to click a link to claim a job, download an app to get paid, or buy gift cards for any reason.

πŸͺͺ

Never collect IDs by random DM

Sensitive documents are gathered securely through our platform for a live placement, never through unsolicited direct messages or chat apps.

Warning Signs

Red flags of a recruitment scam

If a message or "offer" shows any of these signs, stop and verify before you respond.

🚩A job offer that arrives with no interview and no application on your part.
🚩Any request for money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency at any stage of hiring.
🚩Pressure to act "immediately" or lose the opportunity.
🚩Messages riddled with spelling or grammar errors, or sent from a free email or chat app.
🚩Requests for your bank login, full Social Security number, or a copy of your ID before any genuine hiring step.
🚩A cheque mailed to you with instructions to buy equipment and send back the balance.
🚩Links to websites that are not on the globalcybers.com domain.
