Our Story
GlobalCybers started in Chicago in 2015, founded by a small group of recruiters who'd spent years inside generalist staffing firms watching trade candidates get lost in queues built for software engineers. A journeyman electrician and a full-stack developer were never the same hiring problem, different licences, different credential checks, different urgency, but they were being run through the same generic process. We started as a scrappy, direct-hire-only shop serving Chicago-area construction and manufacturing employers, with one rule from day one: no IT roles, ever, so the team could go deep instead of wide.
As we grew past Illinois into Texas and the Gulf Coast, employers kept asking for two things: predictable pricing for ongoing hiring, and a faster shortlist they could actually trust.
